Venture Center Boosts Data Resources for FinTech Portfolio Companies

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Little Rock, Ark. [Jan. 31, 2018]  — The Venture Center and Boston-based FinTech Sandbox, today announced a partnership to increase access to vital financial data FinTech startups need to jump start their businesses. 

“The Venture Center FinTech Accelerator delivers on many levels, but one of the most important is access to banking leadership and FinTech industry experts. This partnership with FinTech Sandbox further deepens the program’s value by giving portfolio companies access to additional data sources they can use to refine and target their solutions, making them marketable to financial institutions,” said VC FinTech managing director Wayne Miller.

FinTech Sandbox is a non-profit that promotes financial technology innovation globally by providing free access to critical data and resources to FinTech startups. For entrepreneurs in financial services, accessing data and infrastructure can be prohibitively expensive and complicated. FinTech Sandbox accelerates product development by making these resources available to qualified start-ups at the point when access is most impactful. Sandbox participants, in return, are expected to collaborate, sharing learnings and advancements that benefit the FinTech ecosystem.
